Small Business Taxes & Management--Copyright 2022, A/N Group, Inc.
Introduction
We've compiled a list of the most popular IRS forms. We've broken the list down into two categories -- Personal and Business. There are actually many more forms; by deleting the more arcane ones we've made the list more usable. (For example, Form 6197 is for auto manufacturers to pay the gas guzzler tax. You won't find that in our list.) You can also use the find feature in your browser (CTRL F) to search the list. When you find the form you want, just click on the link to go directly to the IRS site and the latest PDF version of the form. Be sure to check the date on the form carefully. The link below should take you to the current-year version. Many forms are revised annually and the IRS keeps older forms on line. Many revisions occur after a major tax law change or near the end of the year. For the most popular forms on the list we've also included a quick link to the instructions. Click on the INST to the right of the form name.
Note. In the Forms for Business section we've included a link to the I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification form.
Employment forms such as W-2, W-3, 1099-MISC, etc. can be ordered from the IRS at Forms and Publications by U.S. Mail
To review all the forms or download a form not listed here, go to the IRS web site at IRS Forms and Publications
* There is one additional form (8995-A) and four schedules (8995-A, B, C, and D) which may be needed depending on your situation.
